Custom metal fabrication
Complete parts and assemblies built from your drawing, your idea, or an old part, combining cutting, forming, welding, and machining under one roof.
Your idea, built in metal
Most of our work doesn't fit in a neat category. A machine base, a guard, a mounting system, a replacement for a part that's no longer made: projects like these need several processes, good judgment, and someone who asks the right questions.
We're happy to talk through options before you commit, including materials, ways to simplify a design, and how to keep costs down without cutting corners. Once we agree on a plan, we build it start to finish in our Clear Lake shop.

How a custom project works
- Talk it through. Call, email, or stop by with a drawing, a sketch, photos, or the original part.
- Agree on the design. We confirm dimensions, materials, and finish, and point out anything that could be simpler or stronger.
- Get a free estimate. You get a clear price and lead time before any work starts.
- We build and check it. We fabricate, check fit and dimensions, and let you know when it's ready.
What we build
- Machine bases, stands, and frames
- Guards, covers, and enclosures
- Brackets, mounts, and adapters
- Carts, racks, and storage
- Prototypes and one-off builds
- Copies of worn or discontinued parts
Tips for a smooth custom project
For parts you want copied, photos with a tape measure in the frame are a great start. Bringing the original is even better.
Loads, environment, and what the part attaches to help us choose the right material, thickness, and welds.
Which dimensions must be exact, and which can flex? Knowing that keeps the price down.
Paint, powder coat, or galvanizing can change design details like drain holes and weld prep.
Can you copy a part if I don't have a drawing?
Often, yes. Bring in the original part, or send clear photos with a tape measure in the frame. We'll measure it and confirm the details with you before we build.
Do you offer painting or powder coating?
Tell us the finish you need when you request a quote, and we'll let you know how we can handle it.
Can you help with the design?
Yes, practically. We'll suggest changes that make a part easier to build, stronger, or less expensive, and we're happy to review drawings for free. Structural designs that require engineering approval should come with an engineer's drawings.
